Ipsy Review #21: “Très Jolie” March Glam Bag

Ipsy Review #21: “Très Jolie” March Glam Bag

This was one of the best ways to kick off spring! I totally loved this bag. The products were perfect for a fresh face that’s ready for some warmer weather and the bag itself was probably one of my favorites ever. Here is what I got:

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Mini

I used this to wash my face a couple times in the shower and I really liked it. You can feel the crystals getting the dead skin off and it had a really refreshing smell as well. Nice for a morning wake-me-up.

Beau Gâchis Tapered Blending Brush

I haven’t found much use for this small, fluffy brush yet, but I’m sure it would be good for contouring (if I did that). It could also work for some eyeshadow blending.

tarte cosmetics tarteist™ quick dry matte lip paint in vibin’

I got the darkest shade and it’s really pretty, especially for an evening look. It goes on nicely and wears for a pretty long time. It applies really evenly too, more like a gloss but highly pigmented like a lipstick.

Marc Anthony True Professional Deep Repair Aloe Vera & Jasmine Oil Deep Repairing Conditioning Treatment

This conditioning treatment was okay. It did have a nice scent and it helped my hair feel softer, but didn’t do as much for my tangles as others have.

mPrincess Pressed Eyeshadow in Chestnut

This is a really pretty color, like a shimmery rust or… chestnut (just like its name). The shade is a lot softer on than it appears, but it’s good for a crease color especially if paired with a light cream or golden shadow.

The Bag

I LOVE this bag! Finally one that has some more room in it! I’ve been using this to carry makeup, jewelry, or whatever small things I need to pack. Plus, the millennial pink is obviously super on trend. One of my favorites for sure.

xoxo, Kayla
