This year, like every year, I was very blessed to have received so many awesome gifts from my family and best friend. I traveled to Michigan for the holidays and was able to spend a lot of time with my loved ones. I was in Kalamazoo on Christmas Eve with my step-dad’s family, I spent Christmas day with my parents and little sisters, and the following days I got to see my aunt, uncle, cousin, grandma, and friends. Everyone who I gift exchanged with got me the best stuff!
Shake It Like A Polaroid Picture
So I already had an Intax Mini Polaroid Camera, but it broke! I really wanted a new one and my parents came through. I’m super excited because my old one was a white “7” and now I have the ice blue “9,” which has a front mirror and takes better quality images. I also got some film for it, a white case (which I already bedazzled), and a few cute picture displays.
Tech Accessories
My best friend got me a selfie light for my phone! I’ve wanted one for so long and I’ve been using it pretty much every day since I opened it. From my parents I also got a pink phone cord, pop socket, and selfie stick.
Fashion Books
My mom picked me up two books that I’ve been wanting! Refinery29‘s “Style Stalking” and “The Curated Closet” by Anuschka Rees.
Fresh, Clean, & Cozy
You can never go wrong with bath and body products! Or cozy socks. My family always comes through when it comes to the cutest necessities. I got knee socks, perfume, lotions, hand sanitizers, lip balms, a compact mirror, a cheetah print contact case, and an emergency beauty kit.
Home Sweet Home
One of my aunts got me this adorable Michigan cup! It’s so colorful and I can show some hometown love when I use it in NYC. It can be used for wine, coffee, or pretty much anything.
Marilyn
Everyone who I’m close to knows that I love Marilyn Monroe. I get it from my Aunt Misty because she collected Marliyn Monroe trinkets when I was growing up. My mommy got me this cute T-shirt and a mini planner, which I’ll probably put at my desk at work.
Beauty Guru
I have been dying to get some Fenty Beauty foundation, so while I was Christmas shopping with my mom she let me pick some out. I’m so excited to try it! I’ll most likley do a Fenty “first impressions” post. I also got this awesome set of Benefit products! I’ve loved that brand for a while, check out a previous post I did on them here.
Accessorize
I always love my accessories! My aunt and grandma got me some sassy earrings (shop the handmade statement earrings at Brandy Bell Design) and a really cute bracelet.
New Year, New Me
I got basically my dream planner set. I picked it out from Ban.do, but shoutout to my parents for ordering it. The set included a planner, wall calendar, gel pens, and washy tape. My other family members also got me an adorable set of journals.
Sweet Tooth
Lastly, I got some candy in my stocking. But the cutest thing was the little basketball ornament that my baby sister picked out for me all on her own. I used to play basketball in high school and it’s still my favorite sport to watch.
