Monday Morning Motivation

Good morning! Every since Thanksgiving I feel like time has been zooming by! With Christmas only a couple weeks away there is so much to do! It’s time for finals week so I’ve been doing a lot of projects and a lot of studying. On top of that, I still have about half of my Christmas shopping to do, wrapping, and since I work in retail, I have even more hours than usual. So my advice to get motivated when it seems like you have way to much on your plate for the week is to…

BREATH.

Organize.

& Accomplish.

So, first things first, you need to relax your mind, take a deep breath, and get rid of all that stress clouding your mind. Then, get organized. Make a list of all of the assignments or tests you still have, all of the Christmas presents you still need to buy, or all of the things at work you need to get done before the holidays. Lastly, conquer! Accomplish everything on your list one buy one. Plan a day or two of holiday shopping, utilize your free time to knock out all of your assignments, and cross everything off of your list. Before you know it, the semester will be over, your shopping will be done, and you will be off work for the holidays! There may be a lot on your plate, but the holidays are such a fun and exciting time that it will all be worth it when you’re relaxing and spending time with your family.

And don’t forget to start your day with a good breakfast and a cup of coffee if you need it!
