About two weeks ago, I went on a trip with the Eastern Michigan University Honors College to the Detroit Institute of Arts. Along with being a member of the honors college, I am an honors student mentor, so I went on the trip with my mentee and one of her friends. Although I have been to the DIA a couple times before, it has been a while and I really wanted to make sure I went again before I move out of Michigan next year. I saw works from some of the most famous artists of all time, including Picasso and Van Gogh. I saw some stunning modern art as well. I also saw a very powerful photography exhibition about the city of Detroit. It was great spending a Saturday morning browsing through beautiful art work.
Joggers and A Crop Top
I wore an outfit that I felt comfortable in for a long drive and then hours of walking around. Of course, I still wanted to look cute in public, but appropriate since it’s a school event as well. So I decided to wear my sequenced, knitted crop top from H&M‘s Divided collection, knit joggers that are also from H&M, a light jacket from Wet Seal, and gray booties from Wet Seal.
