Last week I helped my best friend Kailena move out of her apartment at Michigan State University. I think we definitely did pretty good considering the fact that three 20-year-old girls moved everything by ourselves and then drove two cars and a U-haul from East Lansing to Taylor, MI.
One girl’s trash is another girl’s taste
As we were packing and moving everything I actually got to leave with some treasures of my own. Kailena had a pair of unworn black moccasins still in the box, a Mary Kay lipgloss still in the box, and a barley used 3 wick candle that she didn’t want and was going to get rid of. Sadly, I broke the candle. But, on the bright side, I got a new pair of comfy shoes and a fab new lipgloss.
Not only was it fun eating pizza and spending the day with my two best friends, but we also felt very accomplished after all the hard work we did!
