Ciao, Firenze!
The last half of my trip was spent in beautiful Florence. Unlike Rome, Florence was clam, small, and charming. Don’t get me wrong though, there are probably just as many (or more) bars and clubs and places to go for fun. There are also some really important sites to see, such as the Duomo and Michelangelo’s David sculpture. There were tons of high-end designer shops, fast fashion stores like H&M and Zara, and local boutiques. I did most of my shopping in Florence and I learned a lot about fashion as well. We went to a leather workshop, the Gucci Museum, the Ferragamo Shoe Museum, and some textile and costume museums as well.

Climbing The Duomo
Yes, I climbed all 463 steps of the Duomo! It was dark, small, scary, and tiring! But, I must admit that the view at the top was worth it. I would suggest doing it once in your lifetime. It wasn’t easy, but it was an adventure.
