Ipsy Review #1: “Summer Lovin'” July Glam Bag

I’ve always debated on trying a beauty subscription and I finally decided to go for it. I had heard good things about Ipsy and it is only $10 a month. I was going to be put on a wait list, but I was able to avoid that by simply following a few steps and promoting them on my social media. With this being my first Ipsy glam bag, I was really excited. It came in the cutest hot pink packaging. Overall, I eneded up really satisfied with it! I’m happy I subscribed and I will be sharing reviews of the bags with you all every month. Here is what I got in my July glam bag…

Jor’el Parker “Classico” Perfume

This rollerball is a great summer scent. It’s strong enough to last throughout the day, but it’s not too overbearing either. I can’t quite put my finger on what the smell reminds me of, but if you like floral scents then you will definitely like this one.

Pūr-lisse  Cleanser and Makeup Remover

This product gently washes away makeup and dirt. It leaves your skin feeling very clean and it’s not too thick so it’s easy to rinse. It didn’t seem to dry out my skin either, which is always a good thing. This one specifically is called Lotus Lupine 5 and its formula includes blue lotus, white tea, soy proteins, sea silk, and lupine peptides.

Be A Bombshell Lip Balm

This lip balm is not sticky and it goes on well. It lasts as long as any standard lip balm would and it does have a shimmery tint to it. It moisturizes my lips and it doesn’t have a scent or taste.

Eyetini “Blue Hawiian” Swizzle Stick Eyeliner

I actually love this! It applies well and gives the perfect pop of color for the summer. I’ve already warn it twice and both times I applied it under my eyelid with a neutral or complementing eye shadow color and some mascara of course.

  Tarte “Park Ave Princess” Bronzer

I was really excited about this because I’ve been looking for a new bronzer. This one was the perfect shade for me and it leaves my skin looking tan and shimmery. The size of it should last a little bit too, so I’m pretty impressed with this one.

The Bag

How cute is the makeup bag! The colors scream July and the it’s the perfect size for my purse. I love it!

xoxo, Kayla
