Okay so I’m obsessed with this new maxi dress I got from GCGme. It’s so effortlessly stylish and perfect for the end of summer. However, I could totally see myself throwing on a denim jacket and rockin’ it this fall as well. This was my first time wearing something from GCGme and I can honestly say that they have an amazing selection when it comes to dresses, specifically maxi dresses. I was overwhelmed with options, but I chose this one because I always want something that has a nice balance between not boring, but not too extra either. I feel like this fit my style perfectly.
I styled it with a gold starfish necklace, gold Alex and Ani bracelets, and obnoxiously large gold hoops. I thought the gold accessories really complemented the metallic design on the bodice of the dress. The deep navy color of the skirt was a perfect balance and added a sense of sophistication to the otherwise super sassy look. The shoes are my go-to summer gladiator sandals because the neutral colors match pretty much anything.
For my hair I chose mini space buns because why the hell not?! It’s makes the look so much more casual and fun. For my makeup I went with a navy eyeshadow on my lid, a little bit of eyeliner and mascara, and a nude lip.
I wore this to work and I kid you not, pretty much every single person I saw complimented me this day. I would also consider wearing this dress to something fancier, like a wedding. I would just lose the knot tied at the bottom, add some heels, and wear my hair down. Viola!
