Although we’re already halfway through June, summer doesn’t officially start until this Friday. And since I’m always trying to see new places and explore NYC, I thought it would be fun to make a summer bucket list this year. I’ve already managed to cross a few things off the list, which is super exciting! But, there is tons more to do. I can’t wait to make some new memories!
Here are all of the fun things I want to do this summer:
Go to a carnival.
I went to one in Queens with my friend Rachel and had a delicious lemonade.
Go to the Coney Island Mermaid Parade.

Check out Showfields in Soho.

Spend some time at home in Michigan.
I got to hang out with my sisters, go Downtown Detroit with my friend Julia, and more.
Drink frosΓ© at brunch.
This amazing drink and backdrop are at Loreley Beer Garden.
Go to a rooftop bar with friends.
I got to do this multiple times around NYC!
Check out Steamy Hallows coffee shop.
Sadly the shop is now closed, so I’m very happy I got to check it out!
Visit Museum of the Moving Image.
This Queens-based museum was a super fun one to check out.
Attend CurlFest.
Had a blast for my third year at CurlFest.
Go to RosΓ© Mansion.

Check out Ocean Cube.
Another super cool pop-up exhibit!
