Not too long ago, I came across a few posts on Instagram of a place that had interesting art, cute photo opps, and a slide! So of course, I had to investigate and visit it myself. This unique place is called Showfields and it’s basically a market where you can buy really unique and cool products across fashion, beauty, home, and wellness. Here is how they describe the space on their website:
“SHOWFIELDS is a revolutionary retail concept built to engage and inspire your sense of discovery through revolving experiences with the brands and communities shaping our future. We partner with brands to create a stage for immersive storytelling and unlock new offline channels for growth.”
When you arrive, you go up to the third floor so you can start at the top and work your way down. Everything in the space is modern and cool — from inside the foil covered elevator to the giant black and white striped slide that takes you from the third floor to the second. I did find most of the products to be a bit pricey, but that didn’t make the environment any less fun to browse through.
Although I always love to get lost in art and clothes, my favorite part was probably the coffee shop downstairs, Coffee ‘n Clothes. The glamorous café combines my two favorite things. You can order a latte and select a designer logo to add to it (of course, I went with Nike). I also ordered a Gucci mini cupcake for some extra luxury.
Showfields is a really great place to spend an hour or two if you ever find yourself wandering Lower Manhattan. And the brands and booths are often switched out, so you can return to see new stuff and grab some new pics every so often. I definitely want to go back!
