This season for New York Fashion Week, I had the pleasure of attending shows and events for multiple days. Which means that I had multiple days of deciding what the heck I should wear! Luckily, at the very start of Fashion Week, I was able to shop the Target 20th Anniversary Designer Collaborations before their official release! These pieces really helped me build most of my looks. I ended up wearing a lot of sneakers (no surprise) and a lot of yellow. So, let’s dive into what I wore for NYFW!
Look 1: Moschino & shredded denim
Day one for me was spent mostly at CurvyCon with an additional runway show in the evening. Wanting to start off with something fun, but kind of casual, I opted for a polka dot Moschino T-shirt that I had been dying to wear for the first time. I paired it with a shredded denim skirt from Forever 21 (I love pairing designer with cheap things lol). And I finished off the look with my polka dot Comme des Garçons x Converse PLAY sneakers.

Look 2: Rodarte tulle & lace
Because the following day was my busiest, I went for something more glamorous. Opting for one of my new Target designer pieces, I decided on a mustard yellow Rodarte dress. It was a combination of silk, tulle, and lace — both pretty and sassy. Admittedly, the slip skirt part of the dress didn’t cover my butt very well, so I layered a black ruffle skirt under it. I added a yellow blazer from ASOS and one of my new fave pairs of sneakers from the Sui Tsao x Puma collab.

Look 3: Doodles & butter
This evening, there was only one show to attend after work so this outfit was more low key. The only new item was my Sui Tsao x Puma tee, which had a cool doodle design on it. For some color, I paired it with a stretchy knit green skirt I got on clearance from Urban Outfitters. And I finished this look with my Butter Yeezy 350 Boost sneakers.

Look 4: 3.1 Phillip Lim leopard two-piece
And another ensemble I snagged from the Target collabs was a Phillip Lim leopard skirt and blazer. Probably my favorite purchase to be honest. I added a dark lip from LipBar and a pair of patchwork sneakers from York Atheltics.

Look 5: Zach Posen party dress
And last, but not least, I wore an edgy Zach Posen party dress for an end of NYFW Boohoo party. I added some black bike shorts and a lace top underneath and finished it off with my metallic Filas and a sparkly Betsy Johnson purse.
