Now that it’s cold outside, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been basically living in sweatpants, leggings, and hoodies. When you’re plus size, there can be this pressure to always look “put together” so people don’t think you’re “sloppy.” But I’m here to tell you that we deserve to be comfy too! I am the queen of trying to look cute, while still putting comfort first. And I’m a big fan of streetwear and sneakers for that exact reason. So I decided to share some of my favorite places to buy actually cute and cozy plus size loungewear.
adidas
I love pretty much anything from adidas: sneakers, hoodies, dresses, sports bras, etc. Something I’ve been wearing a lot lately is my snake print tracksuit. One of my biggest style influences of all time is Missy Elliott, so getting a new matching tracksuit felt so nostalgic and cool because of her! In the pics below, I styled it with an adidas soft ribbed corset and a pair of Yeezy sneakers. And if you’re gift shopping — or you want to gift yourself — they have so many cozy loungewear options right now.
Aerie
I’ll start by saying that Aerie only goes up to a XXL, which isn’t plus size. But, the reason I included them is because I am a size 18/20 and I do own a lot of loungewear from them! I purchase the XXL size and everything fits very comfortably. I love the leggings and lounge bras — they really are worth the hype. The leggings and matching corset I’m wearing on the left and the sports bra I’m wearing on the right are from Aerie.
Skims
No matter how you feel about the Kardashians, I promise Skims will have you hooked! I have done multiple Skims hauls over on my YouTube and they are my best performing videos. I’ve bought cozy lounge sets, comfy bras, bike shorts, and lots more over the years. I seriously love everything. And they offer up to a size 4X in every style.
Good American
Similar to what I said above, Good American is SOLID. I love their jeans, but the loungewear is also fabulous. My favorite everyday black leggings are from Good American. I also have multiple sports bras and cute, yet comfy tops. The black compression catsuit (similar) I’m wearing below is Good American and the material is SO comfy and super high quality.
Fashion Nova
The go-to shop for baddies does not disappoint when it comes to cute loungewear. For Thanksgiving, some of the women in my family wore adorable matching fuzzy lounge sets. We looked so good! I also recently got some cargo sweatpants from Fashion Nova and wore them on a road trip and they were the perfect balance of stylish and cozy.
Nike
Nike can be pricey, but the quality is so good. Similar to adidas, they have so many great options for sporty loungewear. One of the coziest sweatshirts I own is Nike. And, of course, I own TONS of Nike sneakers.
Snag
Snag started out as my absolute favorite place to buy tights, but now they’ve expanded into clothing! I have a very cozy hoodie dress from Snag, some vibrant workout leggings, legwarmers (which I’m wearing above with my Good American catsuit), and more. They have fair pricing and all of their items fit up to a size 34!
