Recently I spent 5 days in Southern California exploring various fashion related locations and businesses while earning credit for my apparel and textile merchandising program at EMU. It was my first time on the west coast and I loved it! The weather was much better than it is in Michigan and everything was so clean and beautiful.
We stayed at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach and it was absolutely wonderful. The pool area was beautiful and the beach was right across the street. We were also down the the street from Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street where there were a lot of cute places to eat and shop. I had a great time exploring the different aspects of the fashion industry from lifestyle surfing brands in Orange County to luxury brands in Los Angeles.
