Nike ID Review: Custom Roshes

Nike ID Review: Custom Roshes

Don’t you hate when you have a specific idea of a shoe you want, but you can’t seem to find what you’re looking for? For a shoe addict like me it happens all the time. So, I decided to design my own sneakers on Nike ID. I chose to start from a blank Roshe Run and I got to choose every little detail, including the color of the sole, laces, swish, and more. I even added my name on the back heels.

For my colorway, I chose blue and purple because they’re my favorite colors. And I didn’t want them to look plain (since I love prints) so I went with the faded camo design on the side. I did a gray sole so they don’t get dirty too easily and I pulled it together with gray laces and gray thread for my name. It contrasted well against the deep purple.

You would think that customized sneakers would be super expensive, but I paid $115 with free shipping, which isn’t bad at all considering that Roshe Runs in my size typically retail anywhere between $60-$160. It took about four weeks for the shoes to be made and shipped to my house, but it was totally worth the wait! They arrived looking as exactly as I thought they would. Plus, they’re SO comfy. I might just have to customize another pair!
