Sometimes when I get dressed in the morning the creative side of me decides to take over and I end up layering a bunch of random pieces together until I think the outfit is complete. That’s basically what I did with this ensemble. My chunky, snake print, platform boots were purchased from H&M when I went to Italy. I’ve been dying to wear them for the longest time, but I don’t have much in my closet that works with them. However, my determination to show them the light of day forced me make something work with them. I layered a bunch of knits and about 50 shades of gray (pun intended) to come up with this “animal printed-cool temperatures-she must be a fashion major” kind of look. Using my friends motorcycle as a prop also made absolutely no sense, but this is the fashion world so why not? My top and leggings were purchased ages ago so I don’t even remember where they came from to be honest and my dark gray knitted cardigan is thrifted.
