Ipsy Review #5: “Beauty Blast” November Glam Bag

I’m a little late on this Ipsy review, but I definitely enjoyed last months glam bag. The theme was awesome and my products were really fun. Here is what I got:

Novex Haircare Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioning Treatment

This was probably my least favorite product because it just didn’t really do much for my hair. My hair is super thick and curly so I used almost the whole jar, but after I rinsed it out my hair was still tangly and it didn’t feel any softer. I think it may work better for someone with a different hair texture than mine, but personally I didn’t care for it.

Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer

When I first looked at this product I thought it was another bronzer or primer, but that was not the case. I put it all over my face and I looked super shiny and weird, like an alien. I actually read the directions the next time I used it and it sad to apply on the center of your nose and under your eyes. Using it in moderation ended up working well. It gave my face a certain glow, in the right areas. I ended up liking this product, you just have to apply it the right way.

Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Mascara

I love new mascaras and I think that this one was another pretty good one. It enhanced my volume and my length. I would definitely consider buying it.

INSPR Beauty “Carnival” Eye Shadow

This is a super pretty eye shadow and it was perfect for the theme. If you like shimmery eye shadows then you will like this one! The grayish color is pretty neutral so it can pass as an everyday color, except with an additional sparkle to it.

tre’StiQue Mini Matte Lip Crayon in “Chile Red”

I really like this lip crayon! Matte finish isn’t usually my favorite, but this one applies smoothly, stays on for a while and the color is very vibrant. This may be one of my favorite lip products Ipsy has sent me!

The Bag

I was super excited for the galaxy print. I like the look and the material of the bag. I’m a little bored of getting the same silhouette almost every month, but I still think it was a great size and look.

What was your favorite product last month?

xoxo, Kayla
