Last month, I went on my second study abroad trip to London and Paris. We took a direct flight from Detroit to London and spent our first 3-4 days there. Our hotel was very nice. It was small, but super clean and cute. We saw Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and pretty much all of the main touristy places. It was busy, like New York City, and we got around mostly by the tube. I also go to ride on a double decker bus.
We shopped at flea markets and I wandered around Harrods and Liberty. I saw Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross from Harry Potter, which was cool. And it was London Fashion Week! We got to see Fashion Utopias, which was a Fashion Week exhibit featuring designs from all over the world. That was probably my favorite part. We also saw the Vogue 100 exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery. It was so amazing and I would love to go back one day!
