Once again, I’m pretty behind on my glam bag reviews and I haven’t posted in a while, but I promise I have good reasons! Ones that involve graduating and moving! I’m not going to go into all of that yet, but I am definitly ready to flood the blog with new content. For May, I was obsessed with the theme of this bag because, in case you haven’t noticed, I have a severe case of wanderlust. A travel themed bag was right up my alley. Overall the products were great, here is what I got:
Crazy Rumors HibisKiss Natural Lip Color in “Coral”
It moisturizes my lips really well! And it is a really nice color with just enough shimmer. I think it’s a perfect everyday lip balm.
Hikari Cosmetics Shimmer Bronzer
This bronzer was a really nice tone and I personally love shimmer bronzers. You can also use this product as a highlighter or eyeshadow as well, which is pretty cool. I think the copper tones are great for summer.
This particular type of brush isn’t one I use often, but the quality of it is very nice I used to blend some eyeshadow and it worked really well. The bristles are cruelty-free, which is always a major plus.
Aurora Gel Effect Nail Polish in “Old School Pink”
I actually took the time to paint my own nails this time because I was really curious about the gel effect nail polish. I really liked it! The color makes me look more tan and it’s super fun for summer. My favorite part was that it dried really fast, which is one of the perks I usually enjoy from a shellac manicure. The nice part about this is that it doesn’t involve all of the extra steps.
Smashbox Cosmetics X-Rated Mascara
I like this mascara, it doesn’t clump and makes my eyelashes look long and full. The brush applies pretty well too.
The Bag
I love this bag! I really like the envelope style with a snap closure because it’s so different than my other ones. And, as I already mentioned, the around the world theme was perfection. <3
