Ipsy Review #23: "Summer Friday" May Glam Bag

After about a year of receiving monthly Ipsy bags, I decided to cancel my subscription for now so I can try something else. This was my last bag that I received and I was pretty pleased with it! It was a great way to kick-off the summer. Here’s what I got:

Global Beauty Care Charcoal Wash Off Mask

I always love a good face mask. This charcoal mask is a relaxing way to treat yourself while you’re chillin out before bed. It didn’t hurt to remove either because you just rinse it off (not peel). It made my skin feel really soft afterwards.

Mellow Cosmetics Creamy Matte Lipstick

I honestly love this lipstick. It’s the perfect neutral shade for every day. It applies smooth and doesn’t clump. It also has a creamy texture that doesn’t dry out my lips. It doesn’t stay on super well if you eat or drink with it on though, I usually have to apply it a couple times throughout the day. But I really like it and it’s worth it to try.

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter Duo

Although this is a bronzer and highlighter, I’ve actually been using it as an eyeshadow. I use the darker shade on my lid and the lighter shade to highlight under my eyebrow. It’s a really pretty combination and it creates a very natural look.

Pacifica Island Life Eyeshadow Palette

Okay so the actual eyeshadows that I got are great! This pallet is my new essential when I want a quick, easy neutral look (obviously that’s a common theme with all of these products). All of these colors layer together so perfectly and it creates a beautiful golden-bronze eye look.
