Ipsy Review #22: “Side Show” April Glam Bag

Ipsy Review #22: “Side Show” April Glam Bag

They timed this bag really well with festival season. Unfortunately, I’m not cool or rich enough to attend Coachella, but I did get some pretty great products to make me feel a little better about it. Here is what I got:

EM Cosmetics Illustrative Eyeliner Brush Tip

Love this eyeliner! It comes out so smooth and it’s so easy to get a thin line. Perfect for working on your cat eye skills. It comes out very black with a liquid look, except it’s less messy to apply. So two thumbs up.

touch in SOL No Poreblem! Primer

This is a decent primer. It definitely made my face feel smoother and softer. It helped fill in my pores a little and it created a nice surface before putting on the rest of my makeup.

Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Angle Blush Brush

OBSESSED. I actually wanted this before I even got it in my glam bag so when I saw this I almost lost it. As a 90s baby, I owned tons of Lisa Frank products so this gave me such nostalgia. I mean seriously, it’s the cutest freaking brush ever! I’ve been using it to apply a little face shimmer and the angled brush helps form a good highlight on my cheeks.

Hanalei Aloe Soothing Gel

To be honest, I don’t have much need for this product. It wasn’t for me simply because I never used it. However, it can definitely cool down your face after you get a little sun kissed (which actually did happen to me this week).

Hikari Cosmetics Cream Pigment Eyeshadow in Honey Dew

This is a nice eyeshadow. I’m a little bored of getting all of these nudes and pinks, but I must say that they do look pretty. This color is neutral enough to be applied to your whole eyelid for an everyday look, but it has some shimmer too.

The Bag

This is obviously adorable and it’s a super cute theme. My only problem with it is that it doesn’t fit much because it doesn’t open very wide, so I probably won’t use it often. But, it’s really fun and nicely made.
