Over the last couple months I have splurged on some fun new makeup products and I also received some really cool free ones from work and my friends. From Kylie Cosmetics to Fenty Beauty to Anastasia Beverly Hills, here are all of my new goodies for the new season!
Lips
“Unveil” Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint, $24
Every since Rihanna launched her first Stunna Lip Paint, I’ve been impatiently waiting for more! Finally, she has blessed us with some new shades and I’m obsessed with this one. The chocolatey brown is bold, but still casual and so much different than all the other colors I own. Plus, this formula is the best liquid lipstick I’ve ever owned. It lasts all day long, applies easily, and barley feels like you’re wearing anything.
Fenty Beauty Frosted Metal Lipstick “Snow Daze” Trio, $36 & “No Chill” Metal Lipstick
I’m never disappointed when it comes to Fenty. These colors are great and the metal finish has such a cool effect. These are sure to make anyone standout. They do need to be reapplied throughout the day, but they are smooth and comfortable to wear. These lipsticks come in two packs of three –– I bought one of the packs and my friend who bought the opposite one gave me a lipstick out of hers that she didn’t think she would wear.
Anastasia Beverly Hills “Citrine” Lip Gloss, 4 for $25 (top) & “Mai Tai” Metallic Liquid Lipstick, 3 for $25 (bottom)
These are glitzy and glam. I like them, but probably won’t be wearing them super often. They are a good option for the holidays though! Obviously, metallics and metals are in right now!
Eyes
Kylie x Jordyn Eyeshadow Pallet, $45
I bought the Kylie Jenner x Jordyn Woods eyeshadow pallet and I love it! It’s the perfect pallet for fall! After I purchased Kylie’s “Calm Before the Storm” pallet, I was unsure how I’d feel about this one, but it’s by far my favorite. The warm mattes and shimmers are very cohesive, they apply beautifully, and the packaging was done by one of my favorite artists on Instagram, Hayden Williams. I love it.
Maybelline City Mini “Urban Jungle” & “Graffiti Pop” Eyeshadow Pallets, $10
These are really inexpensive and I probably won’t be using them much because the quality is a little mediocre. But, they do have some great shades and are a good idea for keeping in an on-the-go makeup bag.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Loose Glitter in “Electric,” “Pink Saphire” and “Mystic Teal,” $15
I don’t use loose glitter much in general. They’re pretty messy and totally extra, but still necessary to have in your makeup collection for special occasions (or just days you feel like being extra). These new Anastasia glitters are super pretty and perfect for the holidays.
Chaos Makeup Multi-Chrome Pigments in “Rebel Girl” and “Magma,” $25
I had never heard of this brand before, but I must say that these glitters are gorgeous. The pigments are really vibrant and so much fun. But, like the ones above, they are messy and probably won’t be used all the time.
Face
Tarte Creaseless Concealer, $26
I finally decided to buy a concealer. I always hear people talking about Tarte’s Shape Tape concealer, but Sephora didn’t have it when I went. So, I got the next best thing –– and I love it! I wear it almost daily and it does a great job of hiding the bags under my eyes, which I am eternally grateful for.
Marc Jacobs O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer, $49
This bronzer is stunning. It has a nice metallic shimmer and gives a natural glow.
Have you tried any of these products?
