Valentine’s Day Outfits for Every Occassion

Valentine’s Day Outfits for Every Occassion

When it comes to dressing up, I love a theme. And Valentine’s Day is no exception. With February 14th fast approaching, it can be so much fun to search through your closet for the perfect pink or red ensemble… but there are so many possibilities! Whether you’re going on a date, treating yourself, or hanging with your besties, here’s some Valentine’s Day outfits for pretty much any occasion.

Romantic Dinner Date

If you’re planning on a romantic dinner with someone special, then a pink velvet dress may be a good option. This Forever 21 dress is short and has a V-neck so it’s a sexy, but not too much. I paired it with some sheer black tights, black heels, and the cutest “Love” clutch from the Giambattista Valli x H&M collab. This definitely feels like a classic date night look as far as Valentine’s day outfits go.

Ice Cream or Happy Hour

This outfit is great for daytime plans that are a little less formal, like getting ice-cream or grabbing a drink with friends. This lips printed T-shirt is from the Giambattista Valli x H&M collab. I paired it with a maroon skater skirt from Amazon, red tights from Snag, platform Converse, and some fun lip-shaped sunnies.

Night at the Theater or Out Dancing

If you want a bit more ~razzle dazzle~ the a tulle skirt is a great option. This black one is from Morning Lavender. The bodysuit is from Savage X Fenty (so it doubles as lingerie). I found these fun heart-shaped glasses at a small shop when I was on a road trip in Upstate New York. The tights, which have a subtle dotted pattern on them, are from Torrid. And the the heels (same as above) are from Amazon. I would wear this look for a night at the theater or even out dancing somewhere classy.

Museum or Coffee Date

This dress is honestly so comfortable. It’s more modest and great for the cold weather. It was sent to me from the sustainable fashion brand KOTN. I would wear this somewhere cozy, like a coffee date or to a museum exhibit. For accessories, I went with simple black boots from Target and added some blingy hair clips I found at a Michigan mall when I was scrambling for New Years.

Cocktails at a Trendy Bar

If you’re Valentine’s Day mood is “I’m a baddie and I know it” then a black and red moment is perfect. This red lightweight dress is from Walmart (I know right!!) and the sheer jacket is from Forever 21. I found the red heart sunglasses on Amazon and added my black boots and a black choker. This look would work for drinks at a trendy restaurant… or pretty much any plans tbh.

Festive at Work

This is my “stuck at work, but still cute” look. It’s also fun enough to wear to a Happy Hour or lunch plans. This fabulous headscarf is from the small business Nuno Love that is sadly not around anymore. It really complemented my Betsey Johnson mini backpack. The black midi skirt is from Amazon and the tank is actually a bodysuit (with a super comfy built-in bra) from Klassy Network. This bright pink blazer is from ASOS. And I added my platform Converse for a little print mixing.

A Walk In The Park Or Movies at Home

Of course I always have to include a chill option, cause ya’ll know I love to be comfortable. I would wear this for a day at the park or even just a Netflix binge session at home. The leggings are from Torrid and they’re one of my favorite pairs — I’m literally wearing them as I write this. This very on-theme sweater is Kate Spade. And the sneakers are from the Puma RS-X collection.
