Back in March, Zendaya premiered a 70s-inspired capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger at Paris Fashion Week. The collection, which is still available to purchase, includes everything from dresses to jewelry to jeans to swimwear. The pieces feature a lot of denim, stripes, and a fun incorporation of zodiac signs. Prices range anywhere from $20 to over $1,000, so there are a lot of options for every kind of budget.
What I Bought from the Collection
I ordered two pieces from the collection, a top and a skirt. The plus-size options were more limited, but I was able to find items that I knew I would wear over and over again.
This organic cotton T-shirt is available in any zodiac sign and it’s currently on sale for only $30. I’m wearing a size 18 and it’s really comfortable. It fits like a standard T-shirt, it’s soft, and easy to throw on.
The tailored denim midi skirt is on sale for $75. It’s perfect for work or weekends. It has a nice professional vibe to it, but it’s also super comfortable. The matching belt is a really nice touch and the skirt has a zipper in the back so it can be easily pulled up. Everyone needs a good midi skirt and this one can be worn any season.
How I Styled It
By pairing the T-shirt and and the skirt together, the outfit was almost complete. I happened to have some navy blue Tommy Hilfiger wedges that worked perfectly with the look. I added a rust colored corduroy jacket from Forever 21, which is great for a chilly evening or hanging out by the water like I was.
I went pretty simple with the accessories — a silver crystal necklace on a black cord, some statement earrings, and black Ray Ban sunglasses. My hair was pulled back in a ponytail and I went makeup-free.
