When it comes to summer there are some things I love… and some I hate. Of course there are major perks of this time of year like beach days, sundresses, and a sun-kissed complexion. But, with the heat also comes sweaty, oily skin, chub rub, and likely a lot of body comparison due to everyone wearing less clothes. Of course, we’re all beautiful and EVERY body is a good body, but I know summer can makes things uncomfortable for a lot of people. And when you’re plus size those negative feelings can often be accompanied by struggling to find shorts, dresses, and tops that you feel good in AND won’t have you feeling sweaty and overheated.

That’s why I’m super excited to share with you some comfy, cute, and perfect-for-summer wardrobe pieces from Dia & Co! For those who haven’t shopped there before, Dia & Co is a plus size online retailer that offers sizes 12–32. They have a wide range of casual, athletic, and business style clothing at a moderate price point β€” and they even have styled bundles to shop as well. Here are some of the latest pieces I snagged to get me through the rest of summer.

Striped Shift Dress, $35 (originally $55)

The dress is so comfy! It’s made from a soft, thick knit, but it’s not too hot either. The boatneck and quarter sleeves give it a polished look that can be easily dressed up. But, I think it would look equally as cute with some white sneakers. Definitely a timeless closet staple.

Denim Jacket, $69

Sadly, the white jacket is sold out right now. But, they do have black, dark denim, and purple in stock! I love a denim jacket as a summer evening layering pieces because they go with pretty much everything. I especially love throwing on a denim jacket with a dress and sneakers because it automatically makes it more casual. I don’t like when a denim jacket is too tight or restraining and that is totally not the case with this one. It’s stretchy, roomy, and surprisingly lightweight.

Frayed-Hem Denim Shorts, $58

These shorts are so perfect for daily wear. The length is long enough to avoid chub rub, they’ll go with pretty much any top, and they’re not too tight or uncomfortable on the legs or waist.

Zebra T-shirt, $35

I love a good graphic tee… and I also love animal prints. This beaded zebra design is right up my alley. It’s simple, yet fun and very comfortable. It has a loose fit, scoop neck, and the colors are neutral so it’s super easy to pair with your fave jeans, shorts, skirts, leggings, etc.

Dark Wash Skinny Jeans, $69

I really struggle finding jeans I love and these check all of my boxes! They are comfy, stretchy, and versatile. I love that they are a little distressed, but not too much in case you wanted to pair them with a more elegant top. The length is perfect on me and I don’t feel like I have to keep tugging them up all day.

Front-Zip Sports Bra, $39

This sassy sports bra has a fun gold foil design and a gold front zipper that makes it extremely easy put on and take off. It’s supportive, breathable, and has moisture-wicking fabric that’ll dry fast after your workout sesh. And even if you don’t wear it to workout in, it’s comfy enough to lounge in and cute enough to wear as a top.

Striped Denim Shorts, $49

These are surprisingly stretchy and comfy! I love that you can easily style them like any other denim shorts, except the stripes and cuffs give them more of a fashionable, elevated look. Love them!

Soft Knit Tee, $29

It’s hard to tell in the picture, but this top actually has a light yellow line pattern on it. It’s loose and super comfy. Perfect for working out, wearing out with jeans or leggings, or even sleeping in because it’s so soft!
