St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and although it’s mostly known in America as a holiday where people get drunk in Irish Pubs, it obviously has a deeper meaning. The day was named after Saint Patrick, a 5th-century missionary, who is credited with bringing Christianity to parts of Ireland. The holiday is commonly used to celebrate the heritage and culture of the Irish. This often includes parades, eating Irish cuisine, drinking Irish whiskey, and more.
One of the simplest ways to celebrate is to put together cute green outfits ā and maybe watch The Luck of the Irish on Disney Plus. I for one, LOVE a theme. And fun fact: I’m about 2% Irish haha. If you need a bit of inspo before March 17, here are 10 green outfits to consider wearing on St. Patrick’s Day!
1. Green Knits
I recently shared this fun green knit skirt and scarf combo in my post about my fave Black-owned businesses. I got them from Hanifa and paired them with a Brandon Blackwood bag, black boots from Target, and a plain black bodysuit. This look is perfect for cooler weather, especially if you plan on spending some time outside.
2. Green Cocktail Dress
For those who are planning a date night or just in the mood to dress up, don’t be afraid to rock something sassy! I got this cocktail dress from the Cushnie x Target collaboration. Since it makes such a statement on its own, I paired it with some simple nude block heels.
3. Green Sneakers
I shot this look last summer and I honestly through it together at the last minute. I love the playful vibes it gives off. The Sailor Moon x Vogue graphic tee was found on Etsy, the skirt is from the Urban Outfitters clearance section, and the belt is Off-White. But, my fave part of this look is my Comme des GarƧons PLAY x Converse sneakers.
4. Green Mini Skirt
This St. Patrick’s day outfit idea features a simple graphic tee and a vibrant skirt, which are both from Dia & Co. I paired them with tights from Snag and some suede knee-high boots. This purse is super old from Aldo, but I love how the lip clasp matches the shirt design. By having one main piece that was green and keeping the rest of the outfit simple, I was able to have some fun with the accessories.
5. Green Bodycon Dress
This fitted dress is from Adidas and the satin bow sneakers are from the Fenty x Puma collection. I think this outfit is a great combination of cute and casual ā perfect for grabbing food with a couple friends.
6. A Green Sweatshirt Dress
Similar to the look above, the focal point of this outfit is a casual dress. This sweatshirt dress is from Universal Standard and the tights are from Snag. The booties were purchased at H&M years ago and the heart-shaped bag is from a Marshall’s event I attended.
7. Green Accessories
If you don’t have a ton of green in your closet, that’s okay! Don’t underestimate the power of accessories. This dark green shacket is from ASOS and the bag is from Shinola.
8. Green Bike Shorts & Sports Bra
Hey, nothing is wrong with just chillin’ at home! I got this super comfy sports bra and the bike shorts from Aerie.
9. Green Midi Skirt
As you can see, I’ve styled this jacket and skirt a couple different ways in this post. For this outfit, I used a white top and white accessories to brighten the look a bit.
10. Green Dress & Printed Jacket
And last, but not least is my olive green knit dress and printed suede jacket. This dress was super inexpensive from H&M I believe. The jacket was a great find at TJ Maxx. And as you may have noticed already, these Fenty x Puma sneakers are one of my go-to shoes for a green outfit.
Which of these green outfits would you wear?
