Easy Ways To Decorate Your Apartment For Fall

I’ve always loved when people take advantage of the seasons to dress up their homes. And even if you’re not someone with a house and lawn to fill with lights and pumpkins, there are still ways to be festive. Whether you are sharing your living quarters with others or you have a small rental of your own, here are some easy ways to decorate your apartment for fall. All it takes is a few small touches to make your place cozy this autumn.

Create A Cute & Spooky Entryway Set-Up

I have this small corner shelf that is great for small spaces. I originally used it for storage at my last apartment, but at my new place I’ve been able to use it for entryway decor. I love Halloween, but I’m not into things that are too scary. So I found some cute-spooky things that fit my style. Almost everything is a TJ Maxx find! They’re one of my favorite places for affordable seasonal decor. The “hey boo” sign, fabric pumpkins, and the candles are all from there. The skull head is a random addition from a friend (long story haha) and the ceramic acorn mug is from Bath and Body Works.

Add Fall-Scents Throughout The Apartment

This may seem like an obvious one for anyone who loves to burn candles everyday (like me). But, even if you don’t like to burn candles, you can still add fall scented wall plug-ins, hand soaps, and room sprays around your apartment. All of mine are from Bath and Body Works and White Barn — including the cute pumpkin candle holder!

Keep Your Halloween and Fall-themed Coffee Mugs On Display

Coffee mugs can also be used as decor. As I mentioned above, I added that acorn cup to my entryway display. I also like to keep a seasonal cup sitting on my Keurig, ready to use in the morning. And coffee cup display racks are also a great way to rotate out some of your favorite mugs in a more visible way. My “pumpkin everything” mug was a gift and the “potion” mug is from TJ Maxx.
