In honor of National Lingerie Day, which is April 25, I wanted to chat about my absolute favorite place to buy plus size lingerie: Savage X Fenty by Rihanna. I’m a firm believer that when you look good, you feel good. That said, I think lingerie can be a great way of feeling confident and sexy — whether you have a partner or you’re wearing it for yourself! I understand how difficult and intimidating it can be to find quality lingerie when you’re plus size. So I wanted to share my Savage X Fenty plus size review with you (completely not sponsored, btw) to encourage you to give it a try if you’ve been on the fence.

Probably about 90% of my lingerie is from Rihanna’s size-inclusive intimates brand. In my opinion, Savage X Fenty has the best lingerie selection by far. There are so many different styles, whether you want something sassy, edgy, raunchy, comfy, pretty, or somewhere in between. And best of all, you aren’t limited to a smaller, less cute selection if you’re plus size. Rihanna and her team truly seem to understand what it means for a brand to be inclusive. She pathed the way by offering inclusive shade ranges with Fenty Beauty, and she has translated that success into her lingerie brand as well when it comes to size inclusivity.
Most pieces are offered in sizes XXS–4XL and the bras go up to a 46 band size and an H cup. FYI, that’s MUCH better than basically any other popular intimates brand on the market, with the exception of specialty and plus size exclusive brands. I love that I can scroll through the site and not have to worry about seeing something I love in straight sizes, only to be disappointed that it doesn’t even come in my size. The site also shows models of various body types in every listing. This is extremely helpful when it comes to envisioning what that item might actually look like on you.
From lace bodysuits to sheer dresses to corsets, the site is constantly adding new items and there is always a wide range of different colors, prints, and silhouettes to check out. Because of this, it’s encouraged me to try new things — even things I was totally unsure about. And I can honestly say that I have felt amazing in every item.

And it’s not just the lingerie that I love. I’ve bought everyday bras, underwear, pajamas, robes, leggings, and more — and I really do love it all. The leggings and matching tees or bralettes are great for hanging out at home, doing chores or watching TV. Just like the lingerie, there is a vast amount of options that’ll work for almost anyone’s style and preferences.
For everyday bras and underwear, I used to shop at Victoria’s Secret (I actually worked there for three years). But as I grew up and gained weight, they weren’t fitting correctly anymore. That’s another reason why I was so excited when Rihanna launched Savage X Fenty. Over time, I ditched every single on of my VS bras and replaced them with Savage X Fenty ones. And let me tell you, actually finding underwear that fits you properly without being too tight is SO important. You can usually by basics in bundles as well, like 4 for $24 underwear.
Is the Savage X Fenty membership worth it?
For a while, I was paying for the Xtra VIP membership. Each month you get charged $59.95, which is admittedly pricey. With each monthly charge, you gain a member credit. With those, you have the option of cashing in for an exclusive bundle, a set, any individual item you choose, or a “VIP Box.” I would usually stack up a few credits and then get a bunch of stuff at once. You also get access to members pricing on all items, which is often much lower than the regular price. Even with the monthly fee, I felt like I was saving a ton of money.
If you can easily afford it or if you’re looking to invest in your intimates collection, then I honestly do think it’s worth it — at least for a while. I had it for a little over a year I think, but I eventually canceled it because I felt like I had a pretty good amount of bras, underwear, and lingerie and I didn’t want to keep buying more and more just to do it. (Although, no shade if you do! I kinda miss my membership, haha.) Not only can you conveniently skip any month you need to online, but it was also super easy for me to cancel online. I feel like difficulty to cancel is often a big reason why people shy away from subscriptions, which is very understandable! Luckily, I was able to do everything on the site and it’s very user friendly.
Once again, Rihanna has changed the gamed. And I am here for it!
