Happy Monday! I came across this photo on Pinterest and I had to share this quote. It is embedded into so many girls and women that they have to compete with the ones around them in order to be successful or pretty or noticed. This is bs because the moment that you stop trying to compare yourself to the ones around you, you will automatically appear and feel more confident and happy. You will never have control over what someone else looks like, dresses like, or acts like. You only have control over yourself. Focus on being the best YOU that you can be. Try to be better than the person you were yesterday. Compete with YOURSELF. If attention or success is what you want, then it will come as you build yourself into something beautiful and fantastic. You mustn’t concern yourself with what others are doing or even what they think of you. That’s none of your business; you’re only business is becoming the person that you want to be.
