Back in March, I attended The Millennium Tour at Madison Square Garden for the second year in a row. And just like the first time, I had an amazing night. In the early 2000’s, when I was a preteen, I fell in love for the first time. Omarion was my dream guy, my first crush. Of course a very unobtainable one, but I didn’t care. I bought all of his CDs, watched all of his interviews, and learned the dances in his music videos. Don’t get me wrong, I thought Bow Wow was adorable too, but Omarion was my man.
Back then, music was everything to me. To this day, all I listen to is hip-hop and R&B from the late ’90s and early 2000s. I made my dad sit through not one, not two, but THREE Scream Tours! Ahhh those were the days. And now more than ever, I’m missing the simpler times. I’m also missing doing fun things with my friends, like going to concerts. So I decided to put together a huge Millennium Tour playlist to make these long days in quarantine a little bit more fun.

What I Wore
Obviously when I went to the concert I had to rock something very 2000’s, so I chose a crew neck from the recent Baby Phat x Forever 21 collab. When I was younger I was obsessed with Baby Phat, so this was perfect — especially since it was cold outside at the time. I paired it with a pair of striped Good American jeans, some chunky Filas, a metallic puffer jacket, and a tattoo choker. Honestly I dress like I’m still in the early 2000s all the time, so I pretty much just look like I always do. But it was a lot of fun playing into the nostalgia of the evening.
