My “Prep School” August glam bag had some great back-to-school essentials in it this month. It took a little longer to come in this month and that’s why my post is so late, but better late than never I suppose! Here is what I got in my bag…
Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Liner Pen
I love this eyeliner! It goes on like liquid so it works best on the top of your lid as opposed to underneath. I really like the thin felt tip because it makes it easy to control the thickness of the line. I would definitely recommend this eyeliner.
Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco Oil Treatment
This was probably my favorite product this month! I have thick, curly hair so I put the oil in right after my shower when my hair is still wet/damp. I don’t even have to use that much. It helps me brush out the tangles a lot! It also made my hair less frizzy and dry throughout the whole day. I loved it.
Skone Cosmetics Luxe Double Eye/Lip Pencil in Wine
This product was average. I really liked the color, but it was a little light for an eyeliner. I don’t ever wear lipliner, but I’m pretty sure that this particular product would work better for your lips than your eyes. I am open to trying it as an eyeliner again though, I’m new to the whole colored eyeliner thing.
Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer Deluxe
This sample was really tiny, but it is a really good brand. I liked this primer because it went on well and made my skin feel smooth and soft. It’s texture is like a light, liquidy lotion and it’s translucent so you don’t have to worry about matching your skin color. Overall, I prefer my Benefit POREfessional primer to this one, but I still like it.
Swissco Soft Touch Slant Tweezers
Tweezers are always a must-have for your makeup bag. These ones are cute and pink and they get the job done.
The Bag
This bag was super cute! I love the unique print and it’s really fun. Definitely a great theme this month.
