3 Cheap & Easy Halloween Costume Ideas

3 Cheap & Easy Halloween Costume Ideas

Here are three super easy Halloween costume ideas that can be pulled off pretty last-minute. They mostly rely on makeup and accessories that are easy to find on Amazon. You don’t have to spend a lot of money or be a DIY pro to pull off a cool costume!

Witch

Whether it’s my love of Hocus Pocus or just the general concept of magical women supporting each other, the whole witch trend fascinates me. And not only that, witch costumes are super easy to pull together. All I purchased for this look was the black hat, which I got on Amazon. I already owned the dress and fishnets. For the makeup I went with a green smokey eye look and matching lips.

Mermaid

I love mermaids! They are so fun, majestic, and beautiful. I love beaches and being in the water and I’m a big fan of the mixtures of shimmery shades of blue, green, and purple that are so often associated with mermaids. I had been wanting to try this makeup look for a while so I’m happy I finally did. To complement the makeup, I found this cute shell shirt on Amazon. I’m pretty happy with how this came out.

Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favorite old movies. I love Audrey Hepburn; her style, grace, and talent were (and still are) so inspiring. Although she died before I was born, I have been watching her movies for years. I thought that this iconic Holly Golightly look would be easy, recognizable, and fabulous, of course. I wore this costume to a couple of Halloween parties over the weekend and my friends really liked it. I did a more natural makeup look for this one with a mix of pink and beige eyeshadow and a nude, glossy lip. My hair is in a messy bun and I wore a tiara I had from high school homecoming court. My accessories (gloves, cigarette holder, and pearls) are from a flapper kit I previously bought on Amazon for a Gatsby party. And the black dress and sunglasses were things I already owned as well. I didn’t have to buy anything for this look and I loved it!
