December 2018 Favorites + Reflection

December 2018 Favorites + Reflection

December was crazy busy with holiday travel and festivities! Despite being sick at the beginning of the month, I had a really fantastic ending to 2018. I spent a lot of time with family and friends, gave and received awesome gifts, ate a lot of good food, and had time to relax and enjoy myself. Here were my favorite things and moments from December!

DECEMBER FAVORITES:

Beauty: For Christmas, I got the Peach Kimoji perfume by Kim Kardashian and I actually love it! It smells just like sweet peaches!

TV Shows: I recently finished the new season of Fuller House! It’s seriously such a cute show. I’m still hoping the Olsen twins make an appearance one day!

Movies: I literally watched Christmas movies ALL month long. Some of the ones I watched include: The Holiday Calendar, The Princess Switch, Christmas Chronicles, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, This Christmas, Best Man Holiday, Angles in the Snow, Christmas with a View, The Spirit of Christmas, A Christmas Prince 2, and You Can’t Fight Christmas.

Theater: While I was visiting my family in Houston, I got to attend the theater and see Beauty and the Beast. It as my first time seeing the classic tale on stage and I really enjoyed it! It was very similar to the films and it was fun to sing along to the famous songs. The casting, costumes, and staging was all very well-done.

Songs: Christmas music also took over for the month of December. Check out my Christmas playlist. One of my favorite Christmas songs is “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande.

Places: Last month I made a whole video about all of the best Christmas spots in Manhattan, so check that out below! I also went to a Christmas pop-up bar called Miracle on 12th Street. I attended a couple different work Christmas parties (and I met Hoda Kotb at one of them!!). I did my first escape room! That was really fun. It was a place called Escapeburg in Brooklyn and our room was themed like a mummy’s tomb. And for the rest of the month, I hung out around Texas and Michigan – but I’ll be posting about that in an upcoming video!

DECEMBER REFLECTION:

December was a really great month because I got to spend so much time with my loved ones. Since I don’t live in the same state as my family, it’s easy to miss them! Over the holiday I got to see all sides of my family and make some great memories with them. I had an amazing Christmas and I left 2018 feeling extremely blessed and fortunate. I just hope to carry this same positivity and good vibes into 2019 and continue working hard on my dreams. Thank you all so much for all of the support you give me every single day. It means the world to me.
