Happy April! I’ve been excited for this month because I have TONS of fun things coming up. But, before all of that begins, I wanted to share my March favorites (on time for once). The first weekend of March, I went to the Millennium Tour and got to fall in love all over again with B2K, Mario, Lloyd, Pretty Ricky, Bobby Valentino, and The Ying Yang Twins (FYI, I was a HUGE Omarion fan when I was younger). I visited Hudson Yards, watched one of my friend’s improv shows, and went to another friend’s art showcase at The Living Gallery. I also went home to Michigan for a few days and spent well-needed time with the fam. I changed my hair and got two new tattoos at Think Before You Ink in Queens. I even spoke to a journalism class for one of my old professors at EMU (photo below) while I was in Michigan. It was so great and I feel so extremely blessed to be able to do what I do.
March Favorites
Beauty: I finally decided to try Glossier’s popular clear gloss ($14) and I’m loving it. I also got a couple new eyeliners from Influenster. The Kat Von D cake pencil ($19) is super soft and great for blending and the tattoo liner ($20) is precise and great for a fierce cat eye.
Fashion: I’m a big fan of Alex and Ani bracelets. One of my newer ones that I got from my aunt over Christmas is so gorgeous. It’s rose gold with Swarovski crystals and it’s called the Meteor Shower Fine Rocks Beaded Bangle ($38).
Movies: This month I saw Captain Marvel and I was really impressed! I wasn’t too sure about it at first, but I really enjoyed it and I’m SO excited for Avengers to come out later this month. Actually, while I was in Michigan I re-watched a bunch of Marvel movies with my family.
Music: I am currently living for Lizzo’s new song “Tempo” featuring Missy Elliot! It’s so fun!
