This year, my halloween weekend was wild! My friends and I went out on Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday! When it was time to wake up for work on Monday, my entire body was sore from dancing. Here’s a look at all of my Halloween costumes I wore out and what we did.
Night One: Afrobeats club in Brooklyn
Friday night started with a rooftop photoshoot. Me and Leah dressed up as a good and a bad angel, so of course we had to take pics. After that we stopped by an event at Wonderland NYC in Manhattan. It wasn’t really our vibe, so we didn’t stay long. Then, we spent most of the night dancing to afrobeats at Schimanski in Brooklyn. I even stepped out of my comfort zone and asked a guy for his Instagram at the end of night. I literally never hit on guys lol. I doubt anything will come from it, but at least I put myself out there!
This entire costume is from Dolls Kill. And for my makeup I did a white eyeliner, neutral shimmery eyeshadow, lashes, clear gloss, and I added some iridescent face gems.
And of course, the crew is always giving!
Night Two: Gaming & Dancing at OS NYC
On Saturday night, we went to a party at OS NYC for the second year in a row. I had a great time last year, so I was looking forward to it. It’s a gaming lounge with tons of video games, computer games, and vintage games. But for the party they also have a DJ, dance floor, and bar. This night, me and Leah both went as sexy cows and this was probably my favorite costume. We even found a couple other cow babes at the party and took pics with them. It was an a-moo-zing night!
When we arrived at the event, we shot some photos in the streets of Chinatown.
And me and Leah got some very cute paparazzi-style pics (thanks, Maryam).
Here are some fun moments from inside the event.
Night Three: ’70-’80s Disco Glam Party at a Skating Rink
And on Sunday night, we went to a Studio 54 disco glam party at the Knockdown Center in Queens. The event was thrown by Everyday People and it was so much fun! They had rollerskating, food trucks, and (of course) a ton of music and dancing. It was packed! The stage was filled with people vogueing and twerking ā it was so much fun just to watch them! And obviously my friends and I had to shake it too. I wore a fun green satin and feather trimmed two-piece set from Shein with white booties, gold hoops, and big sparkly sunglasses. It was groovy, baby!
And, of course, my girls looked amazing!
How was your Halloween weekend?
