Curvy Girl Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

As someone who has spent MANY Valentine’s Days single, the one thing I always enjoy about this holiday is the aesthetic of it all. Pinks, reds, hearts, bows, etc. And it’s fun to translate that into outfits, no matter how you choose to celebrate. I feel like it’s a great excuse to tap into that feminine girly girl energy and really have some fun with your look. Over the years, I’ve learned that you can celebrate Valentine’s Day in so many ways, not just romantically. I love hanging out with my girls for Galentine’s Day — we typically get dressed up and either have a little party or go out to dinner. Last year, I actually spent V-day with my little cousin and we baked cupcakes. And there’s been other years that I just stayed home and watched rom-coms. Self-love, friendship love, and family love are all worthy of celebrating. So whether you’re going on a hot date, hanging with your fam, or going out with the girls, here are some curvy girl Valentine’s Day outfit ideas for all different kinds of celebrations.

Pretty in Pastel Pink

For a more cutesy look, you can’t go wrong with a pink dress. And this pastel pink dress from Shein is def giving girly girl. I love the ruched front detail and mesh overlay. But, what makes this look more unique is the accessories. I added my friend’s pearl-adorned beret, some sparkly white tights, and a chunky white boot. The accessories added some playfulness to the look. I wore this to dinner with my friends, but I would totally wear it on a coffee date or museum date.

Vibrant Galentine

I wore this for a Galentine’s Day dinner with the girls. The button down top from Pretty Little Thing is almost long enough to be a dress, but it’s a bit tight around the booty lol. So, I wore it as a top and left most of the buttons undone. I paired it with a satin skirt from Never Fully Dressed because the pink lace trim matched perfectly. Also, I’ve been loving pink and orange together lately. The coat is one of my favorites from Fashion Nova (and it’s super warm). I added some nude Snag tights for warmth and my platform white boots.

Edgy Heartbreaker

This sassy look gives me “heartbreaker” vibes. It feels careless and fun, but also a lil’ edgy, since black is the dominate color. I styled this outfit around my red and black animal print tights from Snag. I’ve had them for a long time and never wore them. I paired them with a black faux leather skort from Shein, a black corset top from Fashion Nova, and added a sheer long-sleeve underneath. The red glasses are from Amazon (although, they are very hard to see out of, lol). And the platform sneakers are from Cristianzerotre — they are legit my new favorite shoes.

Sent From Heaven

Clearly, the statement pants are the star of this look. However, the faux fur-trimmed sweater is a close second. Both pieces are from Shein and I was so excited when I saw how amazing they paired together. For accessories, my closet was full of pastel pink options. I added a Kate Spade bag, Fila sneakers, and rose gold shades for a casual chic look.

Cozy Cutie

I wore this look for a photoshoot a couple of years ago and although the dress is very short (and doesn’t stay down over my butt very well), it’s def cozy! I got it from Fashion Nova and for the shoot, I just paired it with some white knee-high socks and heart-shaped Betsy Johnson sunglasses. If I wore this out, I would probably just add some tights and white boots. It’s def a fun look!

Colorful Sweetheart

This V-day outfit idea is inspired by Sweetheart candies. The color blocking makes it stand out from a typical pink or red Valentine’s look. Plus, it has kind of a playful ’70s vibe. I think the printed sweater dress is from Forever 21. The tights, like all of my tights, are from Snag. Then, I added my faux fur green coat from Shein, my white platform booties (again), and purple glasses to coordinate with the tights.
