Film Frenzy at T.I.F.F.: Toronto, Ontario

Last weekend, me and the my fellow arts journalism colleagues ventured to the six (a.k.a. Drake’sย homeland)ย to indulge in multiple films at the Toronto International Film Festival. Sweeney Todd at Glimmerglass

One week ago, I saw my first opera with friends in my grad school program. A performance of Sweeney Todd was given at The Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY. We stayed at a small hotel and it … Continue reading Study Abroad ’16 Part Two: PARIS, France

Cheerio, London Last month I went on my second study abroad trip to London and Paris. We took a direct flight from Detroit to London and spent our first 3-4 days there. Surprisingly, London reminded me a lot of the U.S. because they speak English, most of the food is the same (just fresher and better tasting) and it’s very modern compared to my last … Continue reading Study Abroad ’16 Part One: LONDON, England
