Baddie Plus Size Halloween Costume Ideas

This year, instead of going with a theme like I have in previous years, I decided to go with one trendy costume, one “basic” costume, and one super easy costume. Of course I love a unique costume, but sometimes putting your own spin on common costumes can be just as fun! And trust me when I say I know the struggle of coming up with cute or sexy plus size halloween costume ideas when the options out there are so limited. Especially when you want to feel like a confident baddie! I’m personally not skilled at DIY and I’m not a professional makeup artist, so my looks tend to come together by styling store bought items. And since I usually do multiple looks for Halloween, I try my best to stay price conscious as well.

Here are some halloween costume ideas for all my plus size baddies:

Plus Size Little Mermaid Costume

I really wanted to do an Ariel look in honor of the upcoming live action remake starring Halle Bailey. Because I was so excited about this costume, I went and got my hair done in red passion twists. The purple bra is from Savage X Fenty and I thought it was perfect because the ruching design almost looks like shells. The mermaid tail skirt is from Amazon and so is my seashell jewelry set. The gold set includes a necklace, charm bracelet, and starfish earrings. And don’t forget a dinglehopper (a.k.a. fork) for a prop!

Plus Size Angel Costume

This entire costume is from Dolls Kill. It came with a faux fur-trimmed strapless top and shrug, shorts (that say “saint” on the butt), wings, and a halo headband. I accessorized with white tights from Snag, white Steve Madden platform sandals, and silver hoop earrings.

Plus Size Cow Costume

This costume was put together with mostly things I already owned, but I really love it! The two-piece set is from Dolls Kill, the jacket is from Shein, the headband and purse are from Amazon, fishnets are from Snag, and the cowboy boots are from Target.
